Hi! This sound like the CMOS battery is dead. 1) Check if the battery it is a model 2032 (it is the size of a 5 cent coin attached to motherboard) you can buy it at any farmacy or department store and change for a new one. 2) Other cause is the computer It's overheating and shuts down to protect itself. Check in the fan vent area smell like something is burn or hot. If this happens the fan and heat sink need to be cleaned.

Hi! Sohaieb I have read all the troubleshooting you have done but I not read that you clear the CMOS with the jumper. 1) Look for the jumper at the bottom of the mobo it should say a very tiny CLR CMOS or something similar. 2) Change the jumper to the clear position by moving the jumper to the other side of the 3 pins. 3) Remove the CMOS battery, the RAM memories and Disconnect the power, wait 1 min. and put everything back again. 4) Turn on the PC. I hope this work for you PC. If not your motherboead it may have been damaged and you need to replace it with another (Remenber always use a brush for clean the interior of PC the liquid and computer not mix and watch out for compressed air cans they can cause equal damage to PCs if misused) ''''
Yep, you can have them up side down, perpendicular to the bottom of the case, at 45 degree angles are not recommended. The most important things are making sure they're secure and that their temps are cool enough.
Hi! Paul You need to disarm the computer, enter Ebay with the serial number and brand of your laptop and buy the pieces that are broken and change them. With the service manual it is easy to disassemble and assemble the computer. Never use glue or other product to stick your machine. Stick does not work specially on the hinges because they are too strong. They are strong for support the weight of the monitor and they will broke again. Sometime if you search well you can find broken used computers for parts at a good price on Ebay.
Hi! Check if the brightness of the monitor is off. Other problem can be the monitor's drivers or with the update the monitor has a resolution that your laptop's monitor does not handle. You can check with external monitor conected to the laptop and unistall any video card or monitor driver and restart the computer to see if this solves the problem. A symptom of this is that you see text before the system goes up but when going up the monitor goes black. This happens when the system activates (Boom) the monitor driver or the video card if it is not the correct one the monitor or video card turns off to protect himself. This also happens with the refresh to hi or with a very high resolution. This problem is diferent with each brand or computer model you need find the correct driver or how solve the problem changing the drivers, but you already have an idea of what need to do.
