Hi, I'm Tyler Norman. I am a current third-year student at UC Davis, majoring in plant science (I plan on switching this to design, however). I initially decided on plant science as my major as I enjoy gardening and am interested in botany, but I think that my skills and personality align more with design related fields/disciplines. I don't have any specific aspirations or career goals at this point in time, but I definitely am interested in pursuing something related to design, such as graphic design or UI/UX design. In the past, I've worked on woodworking projects and built my own computer and mechanical keyboard. I have experience using power tools, and know how to solder. I have used these skills in the past to repair electronics, and fix broken wooden items. From this project, I hope to use and develop some of the skills I have, and also gain more experience with technical writing. Outside of school, I like to draw, garden, listen to music, and explore nature. Some of my favorite bands/musicians are Bladee, Aphex Twin, Dean Blunt, My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive, Alice in Chains, The Cure, and The Beatles.
