I have a nonworking IPad 3, 1416... which is listed as 16,32, 64 gb... mine is a 16. Could I replace it with the 64 logic...

I did this and everything works except the display is black. I’ve used safe mode, disk utility, reset NVRAM, PRAM and tried to download Catalina(36hours - didn’t). Display is still black! Help!

My iPad won't reset... tries very hard but shuts down 3/4 of the way thru - done the procedure a dozen times with two computers, all software updated, etc. Called Verizon, thinking the meid number might have a block - but can't get past the operator. What has gone wrong?

You have to remove the logic board to make the other repairs: I just replaced the inverter, but the problem was still there. Most likely it's the logic board. Find a parts machine that has a broken screen...
