Did you replace both belts? Make sure the capstan belt is on in the correct position. I could be in the rewind position. Not sure that would make the tape just spew out but I would make sure it is in the correct position first.

I am confused. That is one big sentence and only thing I can make out of it is that you are missing a screw....is this correct? Or are you looking for a screw mat? I think both can be had here at ifixit.com. Look under the parts/tools section. Good Luck!
