I am Shivam Patel and am currently a Freshman at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University majoring in Aerospace Engineering. I have chosen Aerospace Engineering because I don’t want to be the person flying the plane. I want to be the person building them. I realized this in high school when I was watching planes and thought about the physics of flight. I want to be a jet propulsion engineer creating more ergonomic engines with companies such as Lockheed Martin and Boeing.
I have many skills, most of them coming from my past projects. I am excellent at verbal communication and so I can present and pitch very well. I also do have hands on experience rebuilding engines and other automotive related parts. I want to learn how to fix cell phones because they seem so complicated to fix because all the parts are compact. I have been recognized as having a lot of integrity and being an hard worker from my previous employer.
I used to work at Taco Bell and during that time I got promoted to a Shift Lead giving me so much experience on managing and smoothly running a business. I learned how to handle customer situations and how to professionally assign
tasks to my co-workers.
As of right now, I am in the process of joining multiple clubs such as AIAA. In my spare time, I enjoy learning new survival tactics and sciences that help improve my health overtime. This project will help me build communication skills with my team at a professional sense. I will also get a background behind marketing in the tech industry. Also, did i forget to mention that I can breathe fire.
