So. Uh. My name’s Rosa.
I love to perform/read teardowns, and taught myself my own approach to fixing things: hardware check, software check, then repeat as many times as neccesary.
I seem to live on all points of the technology world, using both Windows and macOS, as well as iOS and Android. Rarely will I ever touch a Chromebook or Linux machine, for I haven’t gotten to that level of tech-headed-ness yet.
Currently I use a Lenovo X380 Yoga, which straddles the fine line between trash and treasure. Sure, its fast and modern, but it’s very finnicky, and runs out of battery faster than the words “Battery Saver”.
I like to play racing games, and so far, I seem to have achieved nothing but sheer stupidity. For example:
I write stories too, and I’m working on one right now. Feel free to email me if you want to see a snippet. Do be warned, I’ve never written in the perspective its from before, so it might be below your expectations.
Feel free to ask me anything, although I can’t guarantee it’ll be answered, since I’m still learning myself! But before you ask, try restarting! Seriously, it could potentially solve your problem on your own! Feel free to email me at email@example.com, and don’t hesitate to ask about any any tech problems, no matter how stupid they are!

Have to be half a centimeter from microphone to be heard in recordingGood day, folks. I have a problem with my Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga X380. It’s brand new, and I have had no trouble with it...
Windows not recognizing downloaded screensaver filesYeah, so my screensaver’s aren’t being recognized. I’ve updated, and restarted my laptop, and still it won’t allow me to...
"Which model is the correct when choosing the battery, A1369 or A1405"に関する回答Go for the A1405. That code is unique to the battery, and so getting another battery that has the same code ensures capability.
"Screen or Logic Board fault?"に関する回答Clean the connector. If that doesn’t work, try a different display. If that doesn’t work, then try the original display with a different phone. If that doesn’t work, try factory reset (if you’re willing to) If all fail, then it’s board-level. Good luck!
"Can I use a 6th gen iPod Touch Screen on a 7th gen iPod Touch?"に関する回答I got mixed answers from this old Is iPod touch 7 gen replacement screen same as 6th generation. Seems to suggest that using a 6th Generation display will work with the 7th generation iPod. Personally, I don’t know, so best of luck to you!
"does a ram upgrade need to go into specific slots?"に関する回答I’d suggest Slot 1 and 3, as that’s how you’d install RAM if it was in dual channel. Might not affect you, since you’re keeping the other 8GB sticks. Good luck!
"Difficult question but do you have information about the YP-U5 Sam mp3"に関する回答Heads up- here are some links- https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/model...-U5JAB/XEU/ https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/model...-U5JAB/XEU/#downloads Good luck!
"Is this ipad mini 3 charging okay?"に関する回答Well, it depends. Is it a 1.0A charger? Does the charger get ridiculously warm when charging? Could also be a damaged PMIC or bad wiring traces.
"Is the headphones amplifier on the main board or on a daughter board?"に関する回答I believe the DAC and amplifier are BGA-mount parts on the main board. Unfortunately, you’d probably would have to replace the entire board, unless you’re good with BGA soldering. Good luck!
"Does Toyota Vista 1996 have a aircon filter. If yes, where is it locat"に関する回答Do you have the manual? Refer to that. Otherwise, it should be behind the glovebox assembly.
"Vacuum Motor upgrade help"に関する回答The motor wouldn’t work, because the 20W motor would try and draw 20W from a 10W connection and circuitry, which would shut down the PowerBot or fry the circuits. I’d heavily recommend looking for the proper part. Not sure where’d you’d find the part, but good luck! Samsung POWERbot R7070 Vacuum Motor Replacement
"Computer heats up fast and slows down; is there a fix?"に関する回答That sounds like a dying spindle drive! As hard disk drives age, they tend to lose data and performance, as the components that drive them start to fade away. A buddy of mine had a 30 year old 7200RPM SATA drive that could barely do 5400RPM… You might want to swap to a SSD at this point. It’ll be eons faster! If it’s not an SSD, then… comment. Good luck! Update (10/06/2020): Ok, I’m dumb. I assumed the issue was not being able to boot properly, but after re-reading your issue, I now understand you’re worried about thermals. Try cleaning out the fans and heatsinks (and possibly the rest of the laptop), replacing the thermal paste. That should help. If not… comment. Good luck!
