I am facing same issue right now. Yesterday me and my family were visiting one island, I wanted to make some videos underwater, then i faced the same problem as you did. Additionally, when iPhone X was turning on and off it has became sooo hot, that i couldn’t even touch it. So, now it’s dead. So angry with Apple for false claims and feature descriptions!
