And the step by step guide is really of vital help! Just taking the dust flocks out and carefully cleaning the parts w/ a small brush or ear tips and akcohol saved my 12 yr old printer! I'm soooo greatful to you all for helping us keep our hardware goods for a long time to come!
Oh, and my printer is still going strong after 12 years!! Yay!

This saved me and my printer!! Thx so much! In fact, the dust flocks were just against the internal buses and under the control panel. And I also found out that one can check most of the machine without having to uncable the grey ribbons.
Handle with extreem care though.
