Device got wet and now the device doesn't power on

If your game doesn’t seem to be loading is check to see if there is a game inserted in the game slot in the bottom right hand corner. A common mistake when reassembling the 3DS is forgetting to connect the power button ribbon cable when reassembling. Ensure that the ribbon cable, which goes from the power button in the bottom right of the device to a connector in the middle of the logic board, is connected.
