Hi, Replacing the camera itself will more than likely resolve this issue. The part itself is relatively cheap, but the repair itself can be difficult for those inexperienced in Samsung repair. You have to heat up the back glass to remove it, and you’ll either end up cracking the glass, or taking some of the lamination off (colour etc) Then you have to remove the frame, and then take out the battery and motherboard, then you can unclip the camera and replace it, then reassemble. There’s a guide on ifixit about doing it. :-) Samsung Galaxy S6 リアカメラの交換
Hi, If you haven’t got equipment to do glass only refurbishment, it is highly recommended that you order a full display, as most phones these days have the display and glass/digitiser fused. :-)
Hi, This is a new issue a few of us have brought up and we are investigating, this also appears to be an issue with the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus. This is also an issue I have on my personal X. I replaced my cracked screen with an original screen pulled from another X, and the ALS (Ambient Light Sensor, responsible for auto brightness etc.) no longer works, myself and a few others have also noticed that the brightness also isn’t as bright as it used to be overall. If you put on your original screen, the ALS works again we have found. So this is definitely to do with the screen being replaced and not user fault. When we have an idea how to fix this, we will update accordingly.
Hi, I would suggest you try replacing your screen, that would be the first thing to do. If that doesn’t work, then it may be a logic board issue which would require someone who can microsolder to help you out.
Hi, Depends if your IP address is static or dynamic. If it is dynamic, the only thing you would need to do is turn off your router, unplug it etc. Wait a few minutes, and then turn it back on, this would change the IP address. If it is static, you will have to contact your ISP (internet service provider) and get them to make your IP address dynamic if possible. I would also report the user for using a DOS attack, this can get their account banned.
Hi, Have you tried rebooting the phone? Hold the power button and volume down button for about 15 seconds, this should cause the phone to reboot. If this doesn’t work, you are likely looking at a damaged screen, and would need it replacing.
Hi, This is quite an unfortunate situation, as there isn’t any parts available for this phone at this time, the only parts you will get is from another essential phone. Only way to get it repaired would be to contact the company that made the essential phone and see if they offer repairs.
Hi, Yes that would be the midframe, but replacing this would be very difficult, as the screen is bonded to the frame, and removing it without breaking the screen is a hard task, even for professionals.
Hi, If you’re not using OEM/Original or refurbished screens, you can have these issues happen, as copies are pretty unreliable. The cables on the 7 series are also very fragile, so any excess bending can cause this to. Another thing to look out for, is any issues with the Audio IC, this can cause touch issues, freezing, etc.
Hi, Replacing the back camera will solve this issue, the 7 plus cameras are pretty prone to damage. You could also take it to Apple, as long as there isn’t any physical damage, they may replace it under warranty.
