はじめに

This is a teardown of an Ipod Touch 3rd Generation to take it apart and see it's different components.

必要な工具と部品

  1. iPod Touch 3rd Generation Teardown, Gather your materals: 手順 1、 1の画像 1

    • You will need:

    • 1x PH00

    • 1X Splicer

    • 2X Plastic Opening Tools

    • 1X Suction Cup

    • Use the Plastic Opening tools around the screen in order to pry it open.

    • Next use the suction cup to lift the screen.

    • You can then remove the suction cup from the screen.

    • After that move the screen to the side.

    • Now you can lift the LCD Screen and start to remove the screws with the PH00.

    • Once you do that you have to separate the black square from the rest so you can fully remove the LCD Screen.

    • After that you can set the LCD Screen to the side.

    • After, use the PH00 to remove more screws.

    • Then use the splicer to start removing the orange square shown.

    • Once you do that, you can remove the battery and ribbon cable and set it aside.

    • You are now down with the teardown. If you want to put it back together again just follow the same steps backwards.

    • This is at a moderate level, definitely not something you should try without a guide.

    • In conclusion, the teardown went well and we managed to understand most of the components in the device.
