I had just brewed a fresh cup of some really tasty Ethiopian Yirgacheffe coffee and was just sitting down to write some code. In my caffeine deprived state, I limply reached for the beaker (yes, I drink coffee from a laboratory beaker, what of it?), but instead of grabbing it, I dumped the entire contents onto my Macbook Pro. I quickly flipped my laptop upside down, but the damage was done: half the buttons on the keyboard where dead.
修理
I was slightly intimidated by the "difficult" rating and the mention of "pentalobe" screws, but the repair went perfectly! It certainly wasn't trivial, but I took my time and was careful about organizing screws and such. In all it took me about 2 hours to get my macbook fixed.
アドバイス
Make sure cables are firmly seated. On my first attempt, the laptop turned on, but it wouldn't register the power cable. I had to go back and reseat a cable.
