Had one problem and decided to upgrade the RAM while I was under the hood. The problem is my trackpad developed a dead spot in its center for clicking (but not for touch sensing).
修理
The new part developed the same deadspot within an hour of the repair, which makes me think the problem is with how it is mounted, not the part itself, but I have no idea how to fix it, so I am stuck with a partially nonfunctioning trackpad for the time being.
As to the RAM upgrade, the top RAM slot will not accept the RAM upgrade and barely accepts the old RAM card. I have held them side by side and I see no difference whatsoever, so whatever is causing the RAM slide to stick is really subtle, probably only 2 thousands of an inch off. I am going to reopen the computer and just fidget with it until it fits.
アドバイス
Address those two issues? Some more detail on fitting the RAM cards into the slots would be nice, but the upgrade was just as straight forward as the directions indicated, other than that issue.
