Went fairly well, everything is very tightly packed in there, felt a lot like mechanical watch repair.

The guides did not address well the metal clips that held the bottom plate on, leading one to believe they might be breaking something or missing a screw.

The trickiest part is removing the LCD upper panel, as it is weaved into the lower body in a kind of 3D puzzle.

The USB-C port on this computer seems like it should very easy to simply remove and replace, it even wiggles in place when the retaining screws are removed.

However, the engineers who designed this decided that to replace it needs removing the LCD hinge, which then requires removing the LCD screen from the body, which then requires removing several modules and ribbon cables.

The trickiest part is removing the LCD upper panel, as it is weaved into the lower body in a kind of 3D puzzle, putting it back is even more challenging.

Also, a thin piece of plastic, cut into the right shape, sufficed as a battery isolator, just make sure the battery contact screw is taken out first.

What should be a 1/2 hour job, turns into a 3 hour job with all the extra dangers of ripping something or shorting something out accidentally.
