R&R that battery

問題

The previous battery was starting to fail. I had replaced a charging port and the battery was so stuck to the adhesive that it started to deform while I was trying to remove it. Afterwards it wouldn't properly charge.

I'm older and my eyesight isn't what it used to be. I lay a paper towel down and work on it. It makes it easier for me to see parts removed from the phone. Use plenty of good light. The parts are very small so jewelers glasses work great.
