iPhone 5C - Screen Replacement

Friend of mine dropped his phone and shattered the front screen, which made it rather difficult to use.

Repair went well overall. The only difficult part I encountered was actually with the replacement part. The front facing camera cable ribbon on the replacement part was a little off and would not line up with the connector without twisting it a little bit. Which was concerning. But it did end up working which was the important part.

The iOpener kit has always been helpful in my repairs with the organizational tray that is included with it. The screws are so easy to lose otherwise. Also, if the screen damage is pretty significant the suction cup may have a hard time staying attached to the screen. So the tape trick could prove to be very helpful if you encounter this.
