DIY MacBook Pro repair with IFIXIT!

Liquid damage to keyboard occurred. Subsequently, the computer was not registering keystrokes and not able to login. OSX would boot into safe mode only.

With the help of the online guides of the teardown of the MacBook Pro, I was able to replace the upper portion of the machine. Ordered part through IFIXIT and it arrived in very good condition. Took approximately 3 hrs to tear down, replace part and reassemble. Thanks to IFIXIT I truly was able to do it myself! Thanks again, I'll always recommend this site to friends and family.

As usual, make sure you have a good clean work space if possible. Read the guides to become familiar prior to working on repair. Also keep track of the screws, take progress photos if necessary. Take your time and you can do it!
