iPhone 6: Just buy the full assembly

My front screen on an iphone 6 was shattered.

Poorly. I've replaced shattered screens on ipod touch 3's, 4's, iphone 4's, and iphone 4s's, so I figured I was up to this. But there's a step that was completely impossible to perform without destroying a cheap part that was not provided with the kit.

I ordered the "iphone 6 LCD screen and digitizer".

I SHOULD have ordered the "iphone 6 LCD screen and digitizer full assembly". Here is why. I got the whole bleeping thing disassembled, and then at step 37, i tore the bleeping home button cable that seems to be made of wet tissue paper.

My wife's phone is inoperable until the $4 part gets here. $35 overnight fedex charge, and it won't get here until tomorrow.

Buy the "iphone 6 LCD screen and digitizer full assembly", not the "iphone 6 LCD screen and digitizer". Don't waste your time trying to move anything other than the home button from your old LCD to the new one, because it's not worth your time.
