The disc drive in both my 1st gen reverse compatible PlayStation 3 and my wii were not accepting game or movie discs. There was a rattle in the disc compartment in both. Come to find out my copious amount of children decided to stuff the systems with paper clips, safety pins and coins. Thanks to the tool kit and the tear down videos, both repairs took very little time and the systems were back in service. Thanks guys!

The repair went very smoothly. Actually having the proper tools to do the job definitely make it easier and faster. No issues were encountered thanks to the resources you guys offered.

Use the tear down resources, always read ahead and keep the order of operations straight. Keep all parts removed in some sort of order so you put the proper screws in the proper places at the proper step of assembly.
