My charging cable was no longer seating properly. My phone would charge only if I got it in just the right angle with a little pressure on it... Good luck keeping it charging overnight!
I really should have read all the way through the instructions first, but I was feeling a little cocky after my first repair experience. I did not have enough time allotted for the repair and ended up cancelling my plans for the evening with my phone in pieces.
This is a difficult repair for a non professional. They will not even do it at the Genius Bar. You will be taking the phone almost completely apart. Do not give yourself time constraints. Distract your pets/children. Take your time. If your screen looks like a trippy striped checkerboard and you can't interact with the touch screen... Take a deep breath, open it up again and re-check your connections. The antenna is so tiny, it's particularly tricky to reattach; listen for a tiny snap when it connects.
