I saved $160 by fixing my kindle fire

the audio jack died on my kindle fire and a new equivalent kindle fire was $170 but the replacement part was about $10

It was easier than I expected it took about 20 minutes the instructions on the ifixit site were good

I bought the plastic tools to open the kindle and I'm glad I did. I don't know if I would have been able to open the kindle without them.
