Lightning connector stopped working

問題

The Lightning connector on my iPhone 5 spontaneously stopped working. I picked up a replacement phone, but wasn't ready to give up the $100-200 I could get to trade or sell the iPhone 5.

修理

Using ifixit's part and guide I replaced the connector in about 90 minutes and with a $20 part. And after the fix it worked like a charm!

The 5 is relatively easy to work on. Just be patient and use a system to keep track of the screws.
