Seven years old and going strong (again)

問題

When my computer was pulled to the floor by dogs tripping over the cord, it fell on the magnetic AC to computer connection. The computer no longer charged; I tried a new AC cord - no luck. My MacBook is 7 years old, so parts were no longer available through Apple.

ifixit sent me the correct in-Board part, and the local guy fixed it for me. Can't thank you enough for this company. Good service, good descriptions of the parts, and instructions if I had felt brave enough.

This reasonably priced part saved my computer. Advice: Be brave, get the part, and go for it.
