Quick and easy MBP HD replacement

Hard drive going to hell. 5 years is a good long life.

Replaced MBP original HD with Crucial MX550 SSD, pretty simple. The external USB to SATA adapter was flawless, cloned the dying drive in about 2 hours, swapping the drives took about 20 minutes. Would have gone quicker had I had the T6 Torx driver I didn't know I needed to remove the set screws from the drive...but that's my fault for not reading the steps all the way to the end first. Pliers got the job done, no harm no foul. Thanks, iFixit.

Read your steps. And get a can of air to clean out your filthy innards if you haven't remembered to do that. I got my trackpad click back just by blowing out the dust--bonus!
