iMac Hard Drive Removal

Needed to remove and destroy a hard drive for personal data protection prior to decommissioning and recycling an iMac.

Repair went fine. Recommended tools and online photo step by step guide was spot-on.

Don't drop your tiny T6 tool on a hard surface. I did and it bent. I was able to make it serviceable and finish the repair by grinding it down to get back to virgin "bit" area, but really need a new bit now. The 54 Bit Driver Kit is worth every penny. Use the flex cable attachment as a "T" bar in the top of the screwdriver handle to get needed removal torque effortlessly.
