Le capteur projette des faisceaux de lumière rouge, verte et infrarouge sur votre peau et une photodiode déchiffre la lumière renvoyée. C'est ainsi que le capteur vous dit le taux d'oxygène dans votre sang (plus rouge signifie plus d'oxygène).

Un taux bas d'oxygène (hypoxémie) peut être un symptôme de la COVID-19 ou d'autres sérieux problèmes de santé.

L'Apple Watch ne mesure pas la température contrairement à l'Oura Ring 2. Quoique bons à savoir, aucun de ces paramètres n'est assez précis pour poser un diagnostic.
