Loosen the central nut on the faceplate that connects the bars to the steering column. If the bars are secured by a faceplate with a detachable top, loosen the nuts on the faceplate and remove. Lift the handlebars from the bike frame. Move the bars until they're in the correct position for your stance. Tighten the faceplate nuts with a 3/8" Allen wrench to firmly secure the handlebars in place.

  • Lift the handlebars from the bike frame.

  • Move the bars until they're in the correct position for your stance. Tighten the faceplate nuts with a 3/8" Allen wrench to firmly secure the handlebars in place.

  • Sit on the bike and make final adjustments to the positioning of the brakes and gears.
