Unscrew the four outer 1.0 mm screws with a Phillips head #1 screwdriver.

  • The screws are magnetized in position and will require tweezers to be removed.

  • Unscrew the 0.6 mm screw located in the center of the battery case.

  • Keep the 1.0 mm and 0.6 mm screws separate from each other for reassembly.

  • Remove the back cover carefully; there are many wires that connect it to the device.

  • Observe the location of the motherboard at the bottom center of the back cover.

  • Using a Phillips head #1 screwdriver, carefully unscrew all three 0.4 mm screws from the indicated locations.

  • Set the 0.4 mm screws aside for reassembly.
