VTech Kidizoom Smartwatch DX2 Faceplate Replacement

If the faceplate to your watch is cracked or simply needs a clean, the following guide will show how to remove and replace this piece.

    • In order to remove the faceplate you must start by placing the watch screen upwards.

    • Use iFixit’s opening tool, another similar tool, or simply use your fingernail to gently pry open the faceplate away from the screen starting from an edge.

    • You may hear a popping sound, but this is normal.

    • Once successful, pull the remaining faceplate off from the watch.

Where can you buy a replacement face plate?

This doesn't remove the faceplate, just the decorative bezel around the screen. I'm looking for disassembly instructions to open up the screen as my son wore his I to the pool (immediately after being told not to! Kids…)
