Turning the printer on

This will tell you how to go from a printer that won't turn on to one that will.

    • Inspect the printer to see if there are any visible damages to it.

    • Plug in the power cord tightly to the back of the printer and into an AC power source.

    • Check to see if any power is now coming through.

    • Check to see the cord is in snug enough. You should be able to hear a moderate click.

    • Check the wire for strips or possibly defects.

    • Consider buying a new printer cord or testing with someone who has a working one. If this still does not work, your printer may have internal damages beyond fixing.
