    Sur mon satellite L555-135, ce n’est pas une CR32, mais une petite pile soudée. Est-elle compatible avec une CR32 ? Il n’y a aucune inscription sur la pile. Merci.

    Oui c'est compatible car les bios nécessitent 3 volts pour rester à jour. Vous pouvez très bien utiliser une pile de 3v plus petite mais elle se déchargera plus rapidement ou plus grosse (mais toujours en 3v) pour peut qu'elle rentre dans l'emplacement prévu par le constructeur.

    Les CR32 sont devenus des standards.

what battery do i need

This is a CR2032 battery

The receptacle that the battery goes into is loose and not making contact on the (+) terminal. This is a shoddy design. You can test it by pressing the receptacle down and powering the laptop. Works fine. You cannot solder the terminal for fear of upsetting the motherboard. Any solutions.

Until I find one, I continue to press F1, go to Control Panel and set the time and date every time I power on the laptop.
