Toshiba SD-4980 belt Replacement

A worn-out belt is not strong enough to open or close disc tray. Belt might be broken.

必要な工具と部品

  1. Toshiba SD-4980 belt Replacement, cover: 手順 1、 1の画像 1

    • Five identical screws: three in back, one in each of left and right sides. Cover lifts away. One may call it 'top cover'.

    • Disc tray being open/extended-out is a precondition to access its drive belt.

    • Use a stick to depress optical deck and unclamp spindle. As optical deck lowers, disc tray juts. Pull or push tray toward its out & open position.
