Titan High Pressure Airless Sprayer Elite 3000 Capacitor Replacement

Use this guide to replace and discharge the capacitor in your Titan Elite 3000 High Pressure Airless Sprayer.

WARNING: To ensure the capacitor is discharged, keep the sprayer unplugged for at least 20 minutes before beginning your repair.

    • Before you begin, make sure to follow the pressure relief procedure documented in the user manual before powering down the paint sprayer and disconnecting the pump.

    • Turn off and unplug the sprayer.

    • Lay the sprayer down horizontally before continuing.

    • Use a Phillips driver to remove five screws securing the top cover:

    • Two 48 mm-long screws

    • Two 28 mm-long screws

    • One 25 mm-long screw

    • Don't try to remove the top cover completely, as it's connected to the body with cables.

    • Pull the top cover up and reposition it to the side, exposing the capacitor underneath.

    • Use a 13 mm wrench to loosen the capacitor's nut enough to allow the capacitor to lift up.

    • Remove the capacitor from its housing to access the cable connectors.

    • Disconnect the capacitor's top spade connector.

    • Grip the connector by the base of the clear head and not the wire itself.

    • Repeat this procedure for the remaining two connectors.

    • During reassembly, use the third photo as a reference for reconnecting the proper colored wires.
