The steam wand is used to steam and froth milk as well as dispense hot water for Americanos or tea.

Using a wrench, unscrew the hex nut and remove the steam wand.

Note: Do not lose the hex nut once it is unscrewed.

Using a thin tool or item, such as a paper clip, poke around through the holes on both ends of the wand to remove any foreign material.

Place the steam wand in a de-calcifying solution as directed by product.

Reconnect the steam wand.

(worth going to amazon.de and entering the partnumbers into the search box: e.g. the o-rings for the needle-valve (996530013462)
