Samsung RFG298 Series Water Filter (Vertical Filter) Replacement

Every six months it is recommended that you replace the water filter of your Samsung RFG298 Series Refrigerator. This fix is very quick and easy. All you need is gloves, a new filter, and a cup. There are little steps to this fix and they all take about twenty seconds. Most importantly make sure you have the room the work and the right tools!

    • Put on gloves to be safe

    • Clear the space around the filter.

    • Twist the old filter towards "unlock" and pull down to remove the old filter.

    • Get the new filter and remove the cap.

    • Align the new filter and lock it in to place.

    • Next take a cup and run the water for a few minutes until the water is clear.
