Push the “Energy Saver” button and “Fridge” button for about 8 seconds.

After you hear a beep, continue to press the “Energy Saver” button until “Fd” appears.
The refrigerator will continue to beep for approximately 20 minutes until the ice maker has defrosted.
Unplug the refrigerator before beginning step 3.

Take the ice maker tray out of the icebox and place it in the sink to melt the remaining ice off.

Attempt to scrape any ice out of the icebox and defrost the remaining ice with a hairdryer or heat gun.
Use caution when applying heat. Excessive heat may cause the plastic to warp or melt, which could cause fit issues during installation.

Unscrew the 0.05 mm screw on the left side panel inside the icebox with a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

Carefully detach the plug connected to the thick white tube located to the left in the back of the icebox.

Press the lever down and slide the ice maker forward at the very top of the icebox.
If the lever is stuck, it could be from the remaining ice in your ice maker.

Take out the ice tray and place it in the sink. Use a hairdryer to defrost the ice tray completely.
Reinsert and reconnect all the parts of the icemaker.

Plug the refrigerator back into the electrical outlet.
