Samsung Galaxy S8 Active Camera Glass Replacement

Use this guide to replace the camera glass covering of a Samsung Galaxy S8 Active mobile phone.

Before using the guide, be sure to disconnect the phone from any power sources. Make sure the phone is turned off.

    • Lay phone face down and remove any coverings to the camera area. This way there are no obstructions to the repair area.

    • Turn on the heat gun and hold it 3-4 inches from the glass for 5 seconds, waving it gently over the area to evenly distribute heat.

    • It may be helpful to keep the case on during this step, to avoid excessively heating the adhesive of the back panel.

    • Gently remove the glass with tweezers.

    • If the adhesive is still strong, utilize the heat gun for another 3-5 seconds, waving it over the area.

    • Check the surface for any residue or broken glass from previous cover.

Did you use the rear camera glass from Amazon that you've put a link to under parts? The Amazon seller has stated that it doesn't fit the Samsung S8 Active so unsure whether to purchase. Thanks
