Turn off the water source beneath the sink.
If the sink is a bit old or rusted, make sure to wipe it with wipes and paper towels.
Wear Gloves for better grip of knobs and to prevent spills over your hand or arm.

Turn on the knobs on the sink to confirm the water is off and release the remaining water.
Always have a container ready when checking for remaining water to catch in.
Once you are finished reassuring, you can move onto step 3.

Gently loosen the elbow that connects the sink to the pipe leading to the wall with pliers.
Use a container to catch any water in the elbow.
Don't use too much strength to avoid damage to the wall pipping as you loosen the elbow.

With a sharp blade, cut along the old silicon to detach the sink from the cabinet.
Use blase with caution to avoid injury to self or damage to the sink.
Then detach the hoses from below the sink.
Beware, water might be in the hoses as you detach them.

If your new sink is a newer model, make sure it has the same length and width with a measuring tape.

Apply silicon to seal areas around sink and let it dry.
