Repairing Parabolic Solar Cooker Reflective Foil

The parabolic solar cooker can receive damage to the reflective dish. The replacement reflective foil peals off like a sticker, allowing a simple and easy fix. The parabolic solar cooker needs to have full efficiency of a parabolic reflective dish in order to capture the energy from the sun at the focal point.

    • Use the scissors to cut off a piece of the reflective foil.

    • The cut piece should match the size of the repair area.

    • Peel the reflective foil off of the cut piece.

    • Place the cut piece of reflective foil over damaged area.
