This is fine for light soil, but if you let the two filters in the bottom of the washer get impeded by slime and food debris, the arms will have food particles inside them and the finer holes of "premium" washers are too small to reverse flush. Any added features in them will make things worse. Soaking in a solution of warm, not hot water with liquid enzyme drain cleaner for several nights may digest the protein and fat and let them pass.
Thanks or this post. I'm facing this exact problem, upper spray arm holes are clogged with maybe pieces of labels and I can't clear it. I'll try your method.
