This guide will tell you exactly what to do if you have a problem with the buttons on your camera.

Using a #00 screw driver, remove the four screws on the left side of the camera. Using a #00 screw driver, remove the three screws on the right side of the camera. Using a #00 screw driver, remove the two screws on the bottom of the camera.
  • Using a #00 screw driver, remove the four screws on the left side of the camera.

  • Using a #00 screw driver, remove the three screws on the right side of the camera.

Slide open the battery door and use a plastic opening tool to slightly open the side of the case. Gently pull apart the cover with the LCD screen attached from the rest of the camera.

Locate where the LCD screen ribbon is attached to the logic board. Using the plastic opening tool, flip the black tab away from you that connects the LCD screen ribbon to the logic board. Gently pull the ribbon away from the logic board.

Now you have separated the back half of the camera from the rest of it.

  • If you have problems with your menu buttons, you must replace the entire back half of the outer case. Not including the screen.
