This guide does not fully reset the console to factory reset modes, but it is used for game and software crashes.
NOTE: Doing this while a game is running may cause you to lose any data during that gameplay session.

Turn off the console by going to the side with the power switch sliding it towards the screen.

Turn the system back on by pushing the power switch towards the screen just like in Step 1. Your DS Lite should be working normally now.
