Nikon 1 J3 Lens Replacement

The Nikon 1 J3 is designed to have a user replaceable lens. Here is how to replace it.

    • Locate the lens release button

    • Push the lens release button and turn the lens clockwise

    • Pull off the lens

    • When putting on the new lens, be sure to line up the notches on the lens with the spaces on the camera.

Changing the lens of a mirrorless camera is not worty of a tutorial, it should be removed.

A real repair tutorial should cover repairing the standard 10-30 lens, which is no longer repaired by Nikon or third-party workshops.
