The Linskys WAP54g is not a very complex guide and is basically composed of the outer casing and the circuit board. This guide is pretty simple but will require the removal of a few screws and prying apart the casing. Note that taking apart the casing will void your warranty for this device.
Power down and unplug the device.
Start by removing the two black rubber stoppers that act as the cushions to the legs of the device. The stoppers are located on the bottom towards the front of the device.
Once removed two small screws will be visible. With a small screwdriver unscrew the screws.
Remove the blue front panel from the rest of the device. You can now see the main board.
Now slide the bottom panel forward and remove it so the main board is attached to the bottom panel.
From here, remove the wires and nuts connected to the back panel of the casing by pulling the nuts through the holes in the casing.
Once the bottom panel is removed unscrew the screws from the main board to the bottom panel so the main board is independent of the bottom panel.
From here, all of the pieces of the casing are removed and the main board is independent of the entire casing.
