    • Set the clock face down.

    • Take out the dead battery from the back of the Ikea PLUTTIS clock.

    • Get the new battery that you want to use to replace the dead battery.

    • Use an AA type battery.

    • To place the battery properly locate the positive and negative indicators on your clock.

    • Using your fingers, insert the negative side of the battery into the back of the clock and push it in.

    • Avoid pushing too hard, it could potentially break the spring holding the battery.

    • Push down on the positive side of the battery into the clock.

    • If you hear a clicking noise when pushing down on the battery. it means the battery has successfully been placed in.
