    • Turning the tuning peg counter clockwise to loosen the string.

    • Here you may use a drill as an easy and fast alternative.

    • Pull the string from the bottom of the bass from the guitar's bridge.

    • Pull the string through the guitar's bridge and upward though the headstock of the guitar.

    • Wrap the new string around the corresponding tuning peg.

    • Tighten the string by turning the tuning peg.
