How to Repair the Tip of a Fishing Rod

Determine what tip fits the fishing rod the best.

Melt the tip of the glue stick with a lighter.
Use a paper towel underneath the area you melt the glue because it can melt very quickly and drip on the surface where you are working.
Take the necessary precautions when applying heat to the glue stick because an open flame and hot glue are involved and can burn skin and other things.

Apply the melted glue immediately around the top of the rod.

If the glue stick cooled, apply heat again to make it useful.
