Replacing a baby doll's non-working eyes is a straightforward task.

Remove the doll's head by loosening the neck strings.
To loosen the neck strings, turn the doll's head from left to right occasionally pulling the head until you are able to fully pull its head away from the body of the doll.
Make sure to remove any fiber fill inside the doll, if it contains the material.
Rinse the pieces with water and dry them with a towel.
Put the eyes back together.
After reconstructing the eyes ensure that the they are working properly. Do this by facing the eyeball to the ceiling to close the eyes and facing them towards you to open them.
