How to force restart it when my home button is broken?
My iPhone 5s is showing the “press home to upgrade” and my home button is broken.
It appears after my phone battery was empty and when I charged it the “press home to upgrade” is showing.
Kindly help me to fix it too.

What to do if your iPhone won't turn on
I dropped my iPhone and the screen went dark. It still rings, take messages but the screen will not light up
try and replace the screen
It’s definitely faulty you would need to change the screen

The energy went out while updating so im stuck at white apple screen with progress bar not moving. Cant do this because home button is broken. What to do?
Sounds like you'll have to replace the home button just so that you can boo the iPhone into recovery mode.
does it matter if the buttons are pressed in the opposite order?
My phone won't turn on and I did just like the instruction said and even tried hard resetting it but nothing happened. I don't know what to do now. I even opened the iPhone 5s over 3 times to check if something went wrong bang it's all good and connected but for some reason it won't turn on even after hard reset. Someone help me please.

If the speaker works fine when play music, I think your issue is caused the logic board or your carrier.

My iphone 5s is getting activated. I bought from South Africa and restored it once in India. Now it is not activating. Please suggest me something.
If your iPhone is SIM free, you can activate with India SIM.
If your iPhone is not SIM free, you can use iPhone via Wi-Fi without activate when SIM is removed.

Best instructions I’ve ever seen. Easy to follow and includes info on what to check if there’s a problem. Unfortunately I still have the white lines and touch screen doesn’t work. I must have damaged something. Won’t be buying another apple. They refused to look at it because I changed the battery myself.
Now that I have read guide no way I am doing this myself. My 5s needs charging constantly. If Appleis doing this they should replace all batteries free. Any suggestions to make battery run for a longer time or must I get someone to install new one?

I have the same problem , my iphone went from a slightly red color to black, i can still hear my phone vibrating when someone tries to call me and when i receive a message but my screen is still dark i tried your method but it still isn’t responding

I used www.HardReset.info to perform a hard reset in iPhone X, and everything went well. I just recommend this site.

I don’t understand why my old iphone5s won’t turn on. When I insert my charger, it shows the battery with it red. I use this method bu it won’t work. Someone help me!
You may have to replace the charge port. The same thing happened to mine last year. I thought the batter was bad and I replaced it. After I got it home, could not get it to charge. The problem was the charge port was loose and needed replaced. Had it done at a cell phone repair shop for $35.00 and have not had any issues since.
