I was unable to halve the unit without removing them.

    Mal Bredy -

Note: the split line is between the chrome back shell and the front black plastic. Tge pictures provided on the site don't show where/how the two halves are split. (Do not try to split the unit by halving the black front plastic section) .

Gude!

    partysahne - 返信

  6. How to disassemble a Bowers & Wilkins Zeppelin:
    • Having checked the fuse and the capacitors, I found on my two power supplies (I bought a second broken one for spare parts) that this resistor had blown or at least was without a jacket.

    • As such I couldn't determine the value, and as it is buried so deep in the board, I stopped the repair here.

    Frank Thoelen - 返信

tobias - 返信

Simone - 返信

hallo simone,

Besten Dank!

Tobias Gund - 返信

Hi Tobias,

Toll repariert.

mein Zeppelin erster Generation.

I successfully changed the capacitors in the power supply but after a year or so the unit is on the blink (literally!) again. I just bought the capacitors from the nearest electronics shop and I think, from looking around comments that I can find on the web, it is probably advisable to go for high quality capacitors (electrolytic capacitors are very sensitive to reverse voltages or excess voltage spikes). A tube of thermal paste cost more than the capacitors, which gives a clue to their quality! I don’t read German but Google translate does a good enough job in this case.

Astrid Gellers - 返信

Vielleicht gab's eine kurze Überspannung. Dafür ist die Sicherung da. Ein Austausch ist ein guter Tipp!

VauWeh -

HAllo allerseits.
